How to improve the quality of plastic bottom tub mould?
That is of course that all customers need high quality and long-shot life moulds with economic price. So how to improve the mould quality at a certain price?
1. mould steel part
As for mould steel, not only need to meet the quality requirement but also need to consider the steel cost and steel strength, also need to choose according to mould type, process type, etc. Also for some special moulds, the mould steel can be heat treatment or nitriding to get more strength.
2. mould design part
Carefully checking the sample or product drawing, and finding a better structure & system to design mould, which can provide long mould life, make & amend easily.
For parts that are easily damaged, need to be designed easily installing and repairing.
There is a complex structure of this bottom mould, so in designing, will use 8 ejector pin and 19 angle ejector pin to easily pull out the product.
3. mould processing part
One way is to increase the basic knowledge of workers, another is to machining the mould in the high precision machine to achieve good quality and long-shot life moulds.
*Using high-speed machining
High-speed machining, generally used for large-scale home appliance cover moulds and its surface machining accuracy can reach 0.01mm. Usually, we will use CNC high-speed milling machine with 5-axis linkage and spindle rotation is generally 15000-30000r/min. Also, our Aoxu attaches great importance to equipment renewal, may the depreciation period is generally 4-5 years, so to us, the equipment investment is a key point in mould enterprises.
*Using a high-speed scanner and mould scanning system
High-speed scanner and mould scanning system provide many functions required from a model or physical scanning to processing the desired model, greatly shortening the development and manufacturing cycle of home appliance moulds. This way is widely used in the hot runner and gas-assisted moulds.
*Combination of rapid prototyping technology and rapid tooling technology
The combination of rapid prototyping technology and rapid tooling technology is applied to home appliance moulds, that is prototype of product parts is manufactured by rapid prototyping technology, and mould is quickly manufactured based on the prototype. The application of RP and RT technology from mould design to manufacturing is only about 1/3 and 1/4 of the cost of traditional processing and cost.
4. mould using & maintaining part
For some hot runner moulds, power supply wiring should be connected correctly. The cooling system should be designed as required. When installing the moulds, one should be careful, and when testing the moulds, one should set the correct parameters to get a perfect product. Also need to maintain the moulds frequently after producing, and put them carefully if not using.
