Technical requirements of melt-blown mold
1. Professional and standardized mold design
The design drawings of SWY Mould are been integrated and adjusted with imported and domestic equipment. The processing technology, melt flow, air knife flow angle and balance analysis, internal pressure analysis, balance analysis temperature control, and balance Degree analysis is in-depth research and evaluation. Ensure the perfect production of each mold.
2. Processing equipment and process control
We have 25 sets of high-speed machining centres imported from Germany and 5 high-precision punching machines, which strictly controls every size on the mold drawing. Each mold has full control under the technical project staff.
3. Supply chain for mould materials and accessories
According to the material experience of successful melt-blown cloth molds, we use German Smobigenberg spinneret steel, and the mold base is made of DIN.1.2311 / DIN.1.2316CR.13 standard steel.
The facts influencing the melt-blown fabric properties
1. Melt flow index (MFI)
The lower of polymer molecular weight, the higher of MFI, also the lower of melt viscosity, which is better for melt-blown. The melting index, not only reflecting the flowing property but also is closely related to its physical and mechanical properties. PP material of high MFI can increase the 1/3 output.
2. The temperature of different areas of screw extruder
If the temperature setting is not correct, it will cause the holes blocked and wear, increase fabric surface defects, or flash.
3. Speed of hot air
It will influence the linear density of fiber and physical properties of the product, on the conditions of the same temperature, screw speed, and receiving distance:
* The speed of hot air increasing, the diameter of fiber decrease, also the strength will increase;
* but if the speed is too fast, it will cause flash and influence the fabric surface.
4. The jet angle of hot air
It means the included angle of airflow and mold bottom, which influence the stretch effect and fiber morphology.
If DCD increases, the fabric will be soft; on the contrary, if the DCD decreases, the strength will improve.
6. The extrusion output of polymer
Under the same temperature, the extrusion output increase, the melt-blown fabric increase, also the strength increase (decrease when reaches the peak).
